MITRAS Materials GmbH is a modern medium-sized industrial company in the plastic sheet extrusion industry. We develop, produce and sell thermoplastic semi-finished products in the form of plastic plates under our brand THERMODET®.

We can benefit from over 60 years of know-how in sheet extrusion since its founding under Flachglas AG in 1957.
Since 2001, MITRAS Materials GmbH is a member of the senata Group based in Freising close to Munich/Germany.

The continuous growth of our company is a proof of our success. In 2009 we set an important milestone with our new modern extrusion line for PMMA/ABS composite sheets with brilliantly glossy Class A surfaces. Our existing extrusion lines were adapted and modernised to meet the new market requirements. In addition to it, smaller investment in our equipment were implemented.

In 2021 MITRAS Materials set another significant milestone for the successful future of the company:
The investment in an additional production hall with special air filtration systems and two extrusion lines for Class A surfaces. Thus, we have created the prerequisite to further expand our high quality standard in the future.

The THERMODET® brand stands for a continuously high level of quality, individual product solutions and consistently excellent thermoforming properties.

Well-known end applications of MITRAS material THERMODET® sheets can be found in interior and exterior application of automotive or utility vehicles, in the caravan and leisure industry or in transport and logistic trays.
